1. How does OrellaUV sterilize my toothbrush?

OrellaUv uses certified UV-C light at the optimal germicidal wavelength (253.7 nm). This technology damages the DNA and RNA of microorganisms, preventing them from multiplying. In independent studies, UV-C has been proven to eliminate up to 99.9% of common bacteria and viruses found on toothbrushes.

2. Is UV-C light safe for home use?

Yes. OrellaUV devices are designed with safety in mind. The UV-C light automatically switches off the moment the lid or cover is opened, preventing direct exposure. Unlike some older UV devices, OrellaUV’s LEDs do not generate ozone, making them safe for daily home use.

3. Why should I sanitize my toothbrush? Isn’t rinsing with water enough?

Rinsing only removes visible debris. Studies show that toothbrushes can carry millions of bacteria, including E. coli and Staphylococcus, especially when stored in shared or damp environments like bathroom cups. 4. How long does the sterilization process take?
